Harrisburg
Greetings from the City of Harrisburg, home of 3,700 friendly citizens!
Bordered along the beautiful Willamette River, Harrisburg is the perfect compromise between rural and urban America. Located near the I-5 corridor, it is approximately 25 miles from the larger cities of Eugene, Albany and Corvallis. An hour and a half drive to the north is the Portland metropolitan area, to the west is the amazing Oregon coast, and to the east is the recreational paradise known as the Cascade Mountains.
Proud of our agricultural history and our small Historical street scene, Harrisburg believes that if we keep our eyes open to the possibilities of the future, we can hold onto the best from the past.
If you are looking for a location to set up a business, this is the area for you. With two railways and a major highway going through town, an interstate freeway nearby, and an airport a few minutes away, your transportation needs will be met. Need a quality work force? Harrisburg is located within 30 minutes of two major universities. Harrisburg also offers incentives to qualifying businesses with tax breaks offered through our Enterprise Zone, and grants and loan assistance to other businesses.
