Grocery Outlet in Junction City has been in business for 5 years. They provide name brand items at discounted rates. Grocery outlet can offer such great deals because they are opportunistic buyers; meaning they purchase overstock, discontinued items, and other stores’ cancelled orders, thereby being able to offer great deals and unique items in the store. Although items are at great discount, they are not past “sale by” date.

Ashlie and Mike Hascher are the owners of the Junction City Store and Ashlie states that Grocery outlet values being part of the local community and believes that staying involved helps the community grow together. “Touching lives for the better” is one of the motto’s the store adheres to. Ashlie strives for both herself and the store to be seen as approachable, willing to help and involved in our communities.

Being a Tri-County Chamber member is important to Ashlie because she feels it gives her the ability to connect with a large group of other business members and to help support each other and therefore the communities that are served.

When not at work, Ashlie enjoys shopping at all the local shops on 6th street in Junction City, and she and her family like to go out to eat at the restaurants in Harrisburg.
